In which the dastardly scheme of Matt Mullenweg to rule the blogosphere is exposed
In the biggest putsch since Adolf Hitler annexed half all of Europe; WordPress supremo Matt Mullenweg has risen to new heights of meglomania. Now apparently all those bloggers who are unfortunate enough to be blogging on the free but increasingly dictatorial WordPress dot com domain, are to have their categories and their posts checked by one of the MattCo enforcers. Long a refuge for children and christians, in order to make progress at com you now need to get your categories into shape. And avoid profanity. And nudity. And you need to blog about politics or something. The usual pithy pundritry from the inimitable WordPress Wank first alerted me to this tyranny.
Gah. That sounds an awful lot like Dave Winer right before all those weblogs.com blogs went down in flames oh so many years ago. Or maybe I’m just a paranoid android. :-P
